OPC = oligomeric proanthocyanidins occur naturally in the outer parts of plants and kernels and serve the plants as protection against UV radiation and climatic influences. Grape seeds and peel in particular are excellent sources of OPC and are among the most powerful antioxidants to protect the body from oxidative stress. In combination with the vitamin C from the acerola cherry and as a very well tolerated retard form, it protects the immune cells from free radicals that attack cells and tissues in the body. The vitamin E it also contains protects against -free radicals-promotes the protein metabolism-supports the nervous system-strengthens the immune system and-improves the oxygen supply in the tissue.
